Their love is electric, solar powered and strong as carbon fiber.  Jennifer and Joe’s wedding at Purdue was a home coming of sorts as they returned to their Alma Matter to tie the knot in the presence of the solar car that sparked their love when they were in school at Purdue.
Purdue weddings are always special because most of the couple who get married at the Union, also went to school there so the venue itself is already filled with meaning and good memories.  Jennifer and Joe took this as a starting place, and filled their day special day with other symbols of meaning and times with good friends and family.   When Jennifer and Joe were at Purdue they were part of the Solar Electric Car team and while they were spending many a late nights (I don’t really know it was late nights, but it was college, so…I assume late nights) in the engineering building, working on this beast of a machine they fell in love.   So, naturally their wedding would have been incomplete without it.  To infuse further meaning, they brought some of their favorite things as well in their gifts for their bridal party.  This photographer’s mouth was watering with jealous as the guys partook of the single malt toast to wish the groom good luck.  They also tossed a cow instead of a garter.  Cool, Cool, Cool.  Overall the personal touches, friends, family and a warm March day made for an amazing wedding for Jennifer and Joe!
